    武汉花卉开发中心是武汉市林业局直属企业，是全国花卉生产示范基地，武汉市农业产业化重点龙头企业。主要从事园林景观工程设计与施工，种子、种苗，盆花、盆景及鲜切花的生产和经营。中心先后参与了多项政府重点工程项目的建设施工。总资产达1.2亿元，年产值逾6000万元。
